Head of Talent Acquisition and Sponsorship

I started out teaching because I loved helping people reach their potential. But after a few years in the classroom, I realized something—teaching and recruiting have more in common than most people think. Both involve recognizing what someone can become and giving them the support and structure to get there. The difference is that in recruiting, I get to help people step into careers where they can make a real impact on the lives of others, and that feels like the right place for me.

My work here centers on connecting with people who are ready to become financial advisors, people who care about the clients they'll serve as much as the work itself. I spend time getting to know each person's background, what motivates them, and how their values align with what we've built at Elevate. It's about matching ambitious, thoughtful people with a firm where they can thrive, then walking with them through the early stages as they build their practice.

What keeps me coming back is hearing the stories from the advisors I've helped bring on. One story that stuck with me involved a client who had just been diagnosed with cancer. When our advisor heard the news, he asked if he could say a prayer for him. That wasn't a financial planning moment, but it was exactly why that advisor belongs here and why this work matters. When I recruit someone, I'm not just filling a role. I'm helping build a team that genuinely cares for the people it serves.

I grew up in Riverview and still live in the Tampa area, where I'm close to my parents and my grandmother, who now lives with them. My cats, Gato and Rat, bring more joy to the house than any two animals should. Outside the office, you'll find me taking walks and soaking up the Florida sunshine, or exploring restaurants with friends on the weekends.
